Alfijr Girls Empowerment Foundation (AGEF) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women to rise above limitations and become leaders, changemakers, and builders of a better tomorrow.

With more than 122 million girls out of school today, we’re working to break down the barriers that hold them back.

Message from the CEO

Why I started Alfijr Girls Empowerment Foundation

For years, I volunteered and worked alongside organizations that support women and children. It opened my eyes to what many girls face: limited opportunities, no access to menstrual hygiene products, low self-esteem, and dreams cut short by circumstances beyond their control.

I carried a deep passion for creating change, but I often felt I was working quietly behind the scenes. I realized the vision God placed in my heart deserved a platform where it could grow and reach even more lives. That realization gave birth to Alfijr Girls Empowerment Foundation (AGEF).
